Tim has 15 years of experience working with a wide range of populations, including adults, adolescents, couples, veterans, victims of domestic violence, perpetrators of domestic violence, and those with co-occurring disorders.  Tim's passions include advocating for social justice, raising mental health awareness, and empowering those in need to overcome life's obstacles.

Tim approaches each interaction with empathy, compassion, and a strengths-based perspective, whether he is providing counseling, facilitating support groups, or connecting clients with necessary resources.  Tim is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Independent Social Worker-Clinical Practice (LISW-CP), Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist (LCAS), and Certified Supervisor Intern.

Tim assists our nation's veterans in obtaining and maintaining independent housing. Tim runs a small private practice that uses the "Change Triangle" to help clients control their emotions and challenge their thoughts in order to find peace. Tim works as an adjunct social work instructor at Central Piedmont Community College, where he aims to educate and improve the lives of aspiring social workers.

Tim strives to foster a safe and inclusive environment in which individuals can thrive and reach their full potential. Tim is deeply committed to lifelong learning and professional development in order to better serve his clients and the larger community.  Let us work together to bring about positive change and strengthen our society.
