These are the words that Robert A. Johnson, III, MA, LPC, GCDF, CCM, DHA, lives by in his life. Dr. Johnson completed his Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, finished his Master’s Degree in Counseling and completed Doctoral Degree in Health Administration. Robert is also certified in Six Sigma Green Belt as well engaged in the associate public manager program for State Government. Robert is a Licensed Professional Counselor in North and South Carolina. Robert has an extensive professional experience that ranges from higher education, government services, nonprofit, workforce development, hospital administration, mental health and program management/development.
Robert has been the recipient of multiple awards, most recently, Who’s Who Among Black Charlotte 2023, Charlotte Ledger 40 Over 40 Awardee, Marquis Who’s Who 2023, WVSU 2022 Young Alumni Winner, the South Carolina Black Pages Top 40 under 40, 2020 along with Alumni of the Week for his Fraternity! Robert is a proud HBCU Graduate of his undergraduate institution at West Virginia State College, Institute, WV. Robert is in the Top 1% percent of Black males licensed in two border states! Robert is also a featured article writer. Robert specializes in the treatment of depression, mood disorders, anxiety, adjustment disorders, PTSD, anger/stress management, Christian counseling, life, business, and job coaching, vocational and occupational problems, couples/marital counseling, and family therapy.
His interests include psychotic disorders such as Schizophrenia, learning disabilities, developmental and intellectual disabilities. Robert enjoys working with adolescents, adults, seniors, couples, and families. As a spiritually driven person, Robert is very active in his church and enjoys several activities including running, playing ball, and travel.
Robert has acquired many different awards on a personal and professional award; however, his best award/reward of all of is being a blessed husband, father, family member, friend and community leader. Robert says he owes all this to God, the parental guidance of his parents and he continually seeks out his guidance to lead him to his purpose.
